Niels-Ansgar Maisch

Niels-Ansgar Maisch studied law and Japanese culture at the universities of Marburg and Cologne, and has been registered as a lawyer in Düsseldorf since 2001.
Niels-Ansgar Maisch is principally active in providing employment law advice, especially related to M&A transactions, restructuring, outsourcing, wage agreements and workforce reductions. A focus of his activity is the strategic preparation and support of restructuring measures and the related negotiations with trade unions and works councils or employee representative organisations about wage agreements, transition agreements, restructuring contracts, settlements of interests, and severance schemes, as well as advising company directors, management and supervisory boards.
In addition, he advises domestic and foreign companies in the area of national and international law relating to agency and distribution law.
Before joining QUANTUM in 2011, he was a partner at the law firm Peters Rechtsanwälte in Düsseldorf. He is an author and lecturer for various Euroforum specialist courses.
